Start the new year with The CBC Academy!  Here's a great opportunity on 3 Wednesday evenings, Jan. 14, 21, 28, for everyone to get involved in learning and exploring God's Word.  It will be held at 7:15 - 8:45 pm, starting with a brief time of worship in the sanctuary, then dismissing to classes throughout the church.  

We hope you'll join us because ...

It's inspirational.  We want to help you get into the Word, to understand the Bible, apply its truths, and develop the tools and desire to continue to read, study and reflect on it on your own.  The Academy is deeply rooted in God's Word to us.  

It's short-term.  It's 3 weeks - because we know you are busy people and we are realistic and practical about what you can do.  We understand that its hard to commit to something long-term, and 3 weeks seems do-able for most people (though sometimes things come up and you can only make it for 1 or 2 weeks, and that's okay too).

It's fun.   Being with God's people - our community - talking, laughing, discussing God's Word and spiritual growth brings joy to our hearts.  Discovering truth and having those "aha" moments in Scripture bring pleasure to our minds.   And we are fun people!
