September is the start of many things, and for us, it’s the start of the new small group year. So, welcome back, small groups!

Right now, most small groups are beginning a sermon-based small group study. I am writing the discussion guides to help us reflect on and process the Sunday morning teachings. As the staff explains the Vision and our Community focus for this year, you can think and talk more about it in your small groups.

If you’re in a small group, your Shepherd will email the lessons to you. In addition, the discussion questions are here on the website. If you go to the Sermons, underneath the sermon listing, right next to the “Download Audio” link, is a “Notes” link. The “Notes” are the discussion guide for that sermon. If you are not able to participate in a small group, you can still access the lessons and think more about the sermons.

If you’re in a small group, I hope you’ll give priority to your group this year. And if you’re not in a small group yet, consider joining one. More information about Small Groups is here.
